Yesterday, everyday

Yesterday is the best known song of the Liverpool 4, but the person behind the song is Paul McCartney, who composed the complete melody in a dream he had in his then girlfriend's house, when he woke up he went to the piano and with a tape recorder, he kept everything so as not to forget the melodies that his dream produced, then he put together the lyrics inspired by the melancholy he felt for his mother.

The song was released in 1965 on The Beatles' fifth album and proved to be a smash hit, according to Guinness World Records it is the most covered song in the history of popular music, being performed nearly 7 million times, for which Paul earned around 43 million dollars.
