Pop or rock?

Undoubtedly that title can only contain one song, Beat it by Michael Jackson, better known as the King of Pop, contains two facts that are not only interesting but also little known.

Beat it has a guitar solo that lasts about 20 seconds, which was performed by legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen, this duet is achieved when Michael's producer, Quincy Jones, called Eddie to participate in a project, to which he accepted excitedly as his bandmates were not in town and this allowed no one to know about the project until before it was finished, plus Quincy wanted it that way.

All the talented Eddie did was take the Beat It sheet music and made some modifications in 10 minutes, then proceeded to improvise two guitar solos in addition to the ones already in the song, Michael thanked him not only for coming, but also for improving the song.
Eddie Van Halen's name doesn't appear in the credits of the song because he wanted it to, and he didn't charge anything, just two six packs of beer that were in the recording studio.
